Britons Encouraged To Consider Crows For This Year’s Christmas Dinner
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged people to consider crows as an alternative to turkey when making plans for this year’s Christmas dinner. The UK has been dealing with a lack of workers in some key sectors since Brexit kicked in, leading to disruptions to fuel and food deliveries and shortages for British consumers.
The Prime Minister told the Conservative Party Conference “So what if we don’t have enough turkeys this year. Most of them are foreigners anyway. Who needs German and French turkeys when there are plenty of tasty looking British crows to go around?”
Mr Johnson’s comments received a standing ovation from his Tory party colleagues with the crowd then breaking into a rousing rendition of Rule Britannia.
We put it to Conservative MP George Winterbottom that surely telling people to eat crow is not only disgusting but yet more proof that Brexit has been a disaster for Britain so far. He was having none of it.
“There’s no need to exaggerate. The Prime Minister was simply offering an alternative. Nobody will have to eat crow if they don’t want to. They can cook a pigeon instead.”
