Dunphy Calls Richard Sadlier A Baldy Shitebag

Former RTE pundit Eamon Dunphy has blasted the national broadcaster’s football punditry as ’embarrassing’ and ‘an insult’. The veteran broadcaster also insisted he doesn’t miss his old gig and had some harsh things to say about one pundit in particular.

“Just like with the Irish football team, the glory days of Irish punditry are over. The licence payers used to get me, John Giles, Liam Brady and Bill O’Herlihy. Look at what they get now. That clueless baldy shitebag Sadlier. He acts all billy big-balls on the telly but I reckon I could knock him out cold, even at my age. The man’s a spoofer.”

Dunphy also questioned Sadlier’s qualifications to be a football pundit and wondered how he got the job in the first place.

“Has anyone ever looked into his claims of being a former footballer? I had never heard of him before this? I mean who did he actually play for, Ballyfermot United?”

We asked Eamon if he watched RTE’s coverage of last night’s friendly between Ireland and Hungary. He told us “No. I was going to but then I remembered I’d rather drink a pint of my own piss so I watched it on Sky Sports instead.”
