Anger as US cop shoots black woman who was simply trying to drive over him

There is widespread anger in the United States after a police officer shot a black woman who was simply trying to drive over him in her car.

21 year-old mother of two Ta’Kiya Young, who was expecting her third child, was reported to Police for shoplifting and as they ordered her to get out of her car, she refused and then drove straight at an officer who was standing in front of her car. That officer fired the fatal shot that killed Ta’Kiya.

In most countries, trying to drive into somebody is considered attempted murder. However, Ta’Kiya was black and this is America so there are calls for the officer in question to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Reverend Al Sharpton told reporters today that this is yet another example of Police racism that he says is rampant throughout the force in all 50 states.

“What kind of country do we live in when a black woman can’t go shoplifting and then try to kill a cop without being shot? This has to stop!”

Ta’kiya was a lifelong petty criminal and her own grandmother had actually taken out a restraining order against her. However, because of what happened she will now be portrayed in the media as a modern day Mother Teresa.
