British police have said they’re considering whether or not to launch an investigation after Glastonbury headline act The 1975 gave what many in attendance are claiming was a shite performance on Friday night.

A Police statement said “Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether an offence against music may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.”

The band’s performance sparked a mixed reaction to say the least, with many people describing it as “bland” and others calling frontman Matty Healy “insufferable.”

One angry fan posted on X “I’ve been coming to Glastonbury for nearly 20 years and this is easily the biggest pile of shite I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen Mumford and Sons.”

Another wrote “The 1975 have shamelessly stolen Razorlight’s idea of combining terrible songs with an annoying prick as lead singer. Get your own ideas!”

As for The 1975, the band released a statement today saying they are very proud to have made history as Glastonbury’s worst ever headline act, adding “Nobody can ever take that away from us.”
