Exclusive Take That interview: “We cannot wait for our Irish show!”
By Paul McRingo Hurling Correspondent
In a world exclusive 2-minute interview with Manchester crooners Take That, the boys told us they cannot wait to perform in Ireland in July, describing their Irish fans as the best in the world.
The group’s current line-up consists of Mark Fowler, Ian Beale and Nick Cotton since the departure of Robbie Jackson last year.
Fowler told us: “We can’t wait to get back on the road. It’s been a long time since I left Albert Square on my motorbike and died of AIDS so it’s great to be back.”
Ian Beale said he can’t wait to go on tour again and perform all the classics for the group’s legions of fans.
“Anything to get away from the set of Eastenders. Have you noticed my Mum looks younger than me? It’s not fair. I asked Gillian Taylforth why the hell she doesn’t age. She just clipped me round the ear and told me if I didn’t shut up she’d get Phil Mitchell to beat me up.”
Nick Cotton simply added “Ello Maaaa.”
Take That’s only Irish show of their 2026 World Tour takes place on July 14th in Kelly’s Roadhouse in Mucklagh, Co. Offaly. Tickets are on sale now at the Blue Ball filling station.
