Experts say wetter weather due to increase in rainfall

Meteorologists say they have discovered the reason behind the wetter weather Ireland has been witnessing for the past few weeks and claim that it is directly linked to the increase in rainfall.

Professor Henry Jockins from the University of Scientific Research conducted the study and explained how he came to his conclusions.

“In one particular study we went outside after there had been no rainfall all day and everything was dry. Then we went outside on a totally different day after several hours of heavy rainfall and everything was wet.

“We can therefore say with absolute certainty that the wetter weather is due to the increase in rainfall.”
