Shock in Britain at revelation King Charles is a massive Wolfe Tones fan

Many people in Britain are in shock today after King Charles revealed that he is a “massive” fan of the Wolfe Tones.

Charles told Irish radio station Midlands 103FM in an exclusive interview that he’s secretly been a fan of the band for many years and was asked what his favourite Wolfe Tones song is.

“Oh but there are so many. I mean where does one begin? They’re all bona fide classics. From The Men Behind the Wire to James Connolly, a personal hero of mine. But I suppose if you’re going to make me pick one, it would have to be Come Out You Black & Tans. That really stirs the blood, doesn’t it. Come out and fight me like a man. Incredible lyrics.”

Presenter Tony Keogh asked Charles where he stands on the whole United Ireland issue.

“Look, it doesn’t take a genius to see that Ireland belongs to the Irish. I mean who does England belong to, the French? No, of course not. It’s a no-brainer for God’s sake.”

Charles was then asked if he thinks his surprisingly pro-Irish nationalist views are going to upset people in the unionist community in the North who would mostly be huge admirers and supporters of the British royal family.

“Oh I’m too old to care about that nonsense anymore. I’m the King and I can say what I bloody well want and if that upsets some people, tough titty! By the way, you couldn’t get me a couple of Kneecap tickets could you? Camilla’s always banging out their tunes around the palace and she’d love to see them live. Now that would be proper mental.”
