EU threatens to tut and shake their heads disapprovingly if Gaza bombardment continues

The European Union has warned that it will not hesitate to tut and shake their heads disapprovingly if the Israeli bombardment of Gaza continues.
The last time the EU launched a major tutting and head-shaking was in 1995 after Serbian soldiers murdered more than 8,000 men and boys in the town of Srebrenica while UN peacekeeping troops stood back and let them get on with it.
That incident and many since have led people around the world to wonder if maybe the EU, and indeed the UN, are nothing more that pointless debating groups. President of the EU commission Ursula von der Leyen said that is simply not true.
“That is simply not true.” she said.
Ms Vonder Leyen then promised to organise an EU debate to debate whether or not the EU is a pointless debating group. The debate is scheduled for early next year.
