Filming begins on new Enoch Burke movie starring Brad Pitt

Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt is playing Enoch Burke in a new movie based on the life and career of the controversial school teacher.

Pitt reportedly spent weeks preparing for the role by standing outside various schools in the States for hours and refusing to leave.

Filming began this morning in Co. Westmeath and the current working title of the movie is The Man Who Wouldn’t Go Away.

Big time Hollywood producer Chuck Johnson was in Ireland last year and just happened to catch an RTE news bulletin about Burke and immediately decided he was going to make the story into a movie. We spoke to Chuck and asked him what audiences can expect. He told us we’re in for a real treat.

“Opening scene: Enoch Burke, an ordinary, decent school teacher is quietly correcting homework when evil school principal Seamus McGinty walks into his classroom and tells Burke that from now on he wants to be addressed as Miss Fluffy Bottom and use the ladies bathroom. When Burke refuses to play ball, all hell breaks loose. Trust me, this movie is gonna make The Godfather look like Mary fucking Poppins.”

We told Chuck that’s really not what happened but he told us he knows movies and he knows what audiences want.

“Hey this is Hollywood baby. Just wait ’til you see the part where Enoch breaks out of jail while machine gunning the shit out of hundreds of prison guards with a big fat cigar in his mouth. Trust me, this movie is gonna make Terminator look like The Sound of fucking Music.”

Other cast members confirmed for the film are Panti Bliss are Principal Seamus McGinty, Colin Farrell as Simon Harris and Warwick Davis as President Michael D. Higgins. Micheál Martin will be played by a plank of wood.
