Ireland’s weather forecasters have given their predictions for the coming months and unsurprisingly it’s not looking good. After several weeks of miserable weather for this time of year everything really turned to shit this week with the arrival of Storm Francis and will apparently remain shit for the foreseeable future. The monthly breakdown looks like this.
Wet and windy weather for the rest of this month will give way to even wetter and windier weather next month.
Dark grey clouds as far as the eye can see in October will spread misery and depression nationwide. Heavy downpours in November will be followed by scattered showers and then some rain. As temperatures plummet towards the end of the month everyone in your family will catch an awful dose that’s going round.
December will see your foreign co-workers moaning continuously about the weather and telling you how much nicer it is in their country while your Irish co-workers remind them that if they don’t like it they’re free to fuck off home. Also expect lots of wind and rain.
Overall the new year doesn’t look much better with wind, rain, windy rain, rainy wind, wet windy rain with some heavy rain in places followed by windy wind and rainy wet rain.
To top it off there will once again be no white Christmas in Ireland. Just a wet and windy one.
