Former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is not taking Manchester United’s complete and total transformation from the Premier League’s whipping boys to potential title contenders since his sacking very well.

Michael Carrick, the reds former captain, replaced Amorim on an interim basis just two weeks ago and has already managed to tactically outclass Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and end Manchester United’s nine-year Premier League hoodoo at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, making Amorim look like a clueless gobshite.

Players who looked like they didn’t know how to kick a ball under Amorim are suddenly playing like world beaters, Patrick Dorgu being a prime example.

And Amorim’s refusal to play the brilliant young Kobi Mainoo because he didn’t fit his system which ultimately proved to be his downfall was in itself a sackable offence.

Iti is not known what lies ahead for Ruben Amorim as he has yet to make any kind of public statement since he was sacked by United but most football experts agree that any club would have to be in a pretty desperate and hopeless situation to even consider hiring him as their coach at this stage.

UPDATE: Breaking news just reaching us. Liverpool have opened talks with Ruben Amorim with regards to him taking over at Anfield. We’ll have more on this developing story as it happens.
