They can’t pronounce their own surname properly but Cardiff witnesses sensational return of Gallagher brothers

Oasis have reunited on stage for the first time in 16 years – with brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher sharing a high five and even a brief hug at one stage during a performance at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium that was more than worth the wait.
They opened with Hello, because of course “It’s good to be back” and for over two hours played favourite after favourite – including Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Supersonic.
Oasis will now embark on a World tour that includes two sold-out shows in Dublin’s Croke Park in August.
It’s a huge success story against all odds for two brothers who came from nothing and can’t even pronounce their own surname properly. (you’d think their Mother Peggy would have told them by now) Although the fact that the second ‘g’ is silent doesn’t seem to register with anyone in Britain so it’s clearly some kind of weird British speech impediment that affects every man, woman and child in the country.
But no-one cares about that now. Oasis are back! Liam and Noel have finally reunited on stage on a momentous first night of their reunion tour and delivered a flawless display that even reduced some in the crowd to tears.
And not a single stupid fucking flag in sight. Take note Glastonbury.
