Mild weather warning issued for all 32 counties

Met Eireann has today issued a status orange ‘mild weather warning’ for the entire country.
Temperatures are expected to remain not too hot and not too cold for the next few days and people are being warned to take all necessary precautions. Spokesman David Kelly advised anyone who is considering venturing outside to stop being mental.
“This is the mildest weather on record. We’ve never seen anything like it so for God’s sake stay inside. It’s just too mild out there. You could die.”
He continued “Mild weather is known to be extremely unpredictable and could at any moment and without warning suddenly become slightly warmer or slightly cooler.”
We asked David why every type of weather condition now comes with a warning instead of just the extreme ones.
“Any weather that’s weathery enough to have its own name should come with a warning. Mild is a name so it gets a warning.”
Fair enough. We’ll have all the latest updates on the mild weather warning as things unfold.
