McGregor says he’s seriously considering running for Pope

Conor McGregor has said he is seriously considering joining the race to become the next Pope after Pope Francis passed away peacefully in the Vatican early this morning.
McGregor told Dublin radio station 96FM “None of those bleedin’ pox bottles in Leinster House will let me run for President so I’m going for Pope instead and there’s f*ck all any of them can do about it. I’ll be the best Pope ever in the history of Popes.”
The former MMA fighter was asked what he would do if he actually became Pope.
“Everyone in Ireland will start going to mass again every week. If you don’t go, I’ll batter ya! If you’re not Catholic, convert or I’ll batter ya! I’m the only chance Ireland has of becoming a Catholic country again so vote McGregor for Pope. If you don’t, I’ll bleedin’ batter ya!”
With Pope Francis’ passing, crowds will soon gather in Vatican City to honour and celebrate the traditions of selecting his successor. As always, black or white smoke will funnel from the chimney of the Sistene Chapel to let people know what colour the new Pope is.
