Manchester United choose next manager to have his reputation destroyed
Manchester United have approached Sporting Lisbon with regards to appointing head coach Ruben Amorim as their new boss.
Talks are thought to be ongoing over making the 39 year-old the next manager with an excellent track record to have his reputation and credibility destroyed after Erik ten Hag was sacked on Monday morning.
United have had five managers since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 and have sacked every one of them, including Jose Mourinho who finished second in the Premier League and won the Europa League in 2017.
Most fans and pundits seem to think United should be winning league titles regularly like they did under Ferguson, despite the fact that they hadn’t won one for 26 years before he turned them into a major force in World football.
Since Ferguson retired, the club has gone back to being the Manchester United they always were but this fact seems to be lost of pretty much everybody for some reason.
Amorim is expected to be appointed Manchester United manager by this time next month and is expected to be sacked by this time next year.
