Lol – Country that couldn’t beat a bunch of Afghan goat herders threatens to invade Greenland

Donald Trump has once again signalled his intention to “acquire” Greenland – and has hinted that he may be prepared to use military force to do so.

His comments have ignited a storm of criticism from Danish and Greenland officials but honestly, they needn’t worry.

The last time US troops entered a country was Afghanistan in 2001 where their stated goal was to topple the Taliban regime and prevent the country from harbouring terrorists.

In 2021 US military forces withdrew from Afghanistan in humiliation having been outmaneuvered by a bunch of goat herders with rifles as the Taliban retook control of the country.

Of course the last war the United States was involved in before Afghanistan was the Vietnam war. They lost that one too. This time to a bunch of rice farmers.

So Greenland, seriously lads, stop worrying. Just hand out a few shotguns to the locals and you’ll be grand.
