A Dundalk man who was stabbed to death in Dublin last weekend was pursued by “a 14-man pack” led by a Galway man who has been charged with assault and violent disorder, Dublin District Court has heard.

Garda Pat McCarthy told the court it is alleged that Galway man Joshua Brodericks led the chase that resulted in Dundalk man Qayyum Balogun collapsing and dying following “a savage and unprovoked attack” by six Galway men.

The 25-year-old Galway man, from Gleann Dara, Rahoon in Galway, so he’s Irish, is charged with four counts of violent disorder and assault causing harm to a Dublin man and a Dublin woman but he is not accused of attacking Dundalk man Balogun.

The judge granted Brodericks bail during a contested hearing so he is now free to leg it to England.

Garda Pat McCarthy told the court that Galway man Brodericks led a “14-man pack” that chased Dundalk man Balogun and his friends on to Clarendon Street where the victim, who was a Dundalk man, slipped and fell and an estimated six men attacked him – all Galway men.

“Investigations are ongoing,” a Garda statement said on Friday evening.

And people say mass immigration is causing a rise in violent crime in Ireland. What utter far-right nonsense. As this article clearly shows, it’s the Irish causing all the trouble.
