Leo Warns Brits “Mess With Our Border And I’ll Tell The EU On You So I Will.”

The legendary ‘Fighting Irish’ spirit is clearly alive and well in Leo Varadkar after he warned Britain today that if they mess with the Irish border in any way he won’t hesitate to tell on them.

The Taoiseach was answering a question in Dáil Eireann about brexit and the border issue when he said “Irish patriots did not give their lives so Britain could decide our future. They gave their lives so Britain could sit down with members of a European trading block and together they could all decide our future.”



Ireland’s fate after Brexit will be decided by a British government led by Boris Johnson and various EU leaders such as alcoholic woman-groper Jean Claude Juncker who the Irish government is perfectly happy to let represent our interests in the talks.

“The Irish border has nothing to do with Ireland.” said Varadkar proudly. “It’s between the UK and the EU. We know our place. If the Brits step out of line in any way before those talks resume I will not hesitate to tell Mr. Juncker and Mr. Tusk. Don’t test me Boris! You know I’ll do it.”

The Taoiseach is due to give a speech on brexit later this week in the European Parliament where he’s sure to find a supportive audience.

“I’m looking forward to outlining Ireland’s concerns regarding the whole border issue and can’t wait to see what’s in my speech when I collect it from Mrs. Merkel on Thursday.”
