Local family on holiday in Spain devastated to hear weather is gorgeous back home

A local family who are on holiday in Spain have told of their devastation at hearing the news that the weather is gorgeous back home in Ireland.

John and Deirdre Bracken from Tullamore are in Cambrils in Spain where it is currently 27°C and sunny. However, Deirdre just checked the weather in Tullamore and it is currently 27°C and sunny.

“It’s not right.” she told us. “Hearing that the weather is shite back home is what makes spending a week in the sun so enjoyable. It’s a huge part of it. This has totally ruined our holiday.”

John said it was lashing rain when they left home on Monday and he doesn’t see why it can’t still be lashing rain.

“I intend to write a strongly worded letter to my local TD about this. It’s not on! We were going to bring the young one to the Port Aventura theme park today but what’s the point? We could have just stayed in Tullamore and gone up to the town park instead. What a complete waste of money this holiday has been.”

Deirdre said some people back home have been sending her pictures of the sun and blue skies. She is in no doubt they’re all taking the piss.

“That bitch next door sent me a few of them all out partying in the back garden drinking cocktails and sunbathing. She even added a “Lol” at the bottom. Well don’t worry, when we get home Monday I’ll have an even bigger party with loads of people sunbathing and drinking and music blaring. I’ll sicken her hole so I will.”

Unfortunately for Deirdre the Irish weather is set to turn to shit on Monday and by the time they get home there will be torrential downpours nationwide. Especially in Tullamore.
