Trump nominates Netanyahu for nobel peace prize after Israel agrees to stop shooting civilians for 10 hours

Israel has agreed to a “tactical pause in fighting” in parts of Gaza and said it will stop shooting civilians for 10 hours a day and will allow aid agencies to open secure land routes “to tackle a deepening hunger crisis.”
US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters during a round of golf in Turnberry in Scotland this morning and hailed the move as a great day.
“I think it’s great. It’s wonderful. It’s totally wonderful and great. He’s a great guy. He’s great. I’m great. You’re not great. You’re terrible people. But I’m great. He’s great. And everything is great.”
Mr Trump added that he thinks Netanyahu should now be favourite to win this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
“He’s stopped the killing. He’s saving hundreds of lives as we speak. Maybe even thousands. Probably millions. Maybe even billions. Who knows? Nobody knows. You don’t know. You know nothing. But I know. I always know. He’s a saint. I’m a saint. You’re not saints. You’re fake news. All of you. But we are. We’re saints. And we’re great. And it’s a great day. A great day for the region and for the whole world. It’s just great.”
The Israeli government reminded people that the temporary pause in killing only applies to 3 areas of Gaza and civilians in all other parts of the enclave are fair game for target practice.
