Solskjaer Pre-sacked From Next Job
Ole Gunner Solskjaer has been pre-sacked from his next job in football management. It’s not known yet where the Norwegian will end up after his Old Trafford exit but potential clubs have already issued statements pre-sacking him.
Solskjaer’s former club Molde in his native Norway are favourites to re-hire the former Manchester United manager as first team coach and chairman Ivar Moen had this to say on the club’s official website.
“We’re not sure yet if Ole is coming back to us but if he does we’d like to announce the termination of the contract he will sign and thank him for his service. We’re sorry things aren’t going to work out and wish him luck in his future endeavours.”
Meanwhile Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be Manchester United’s preferred choice to replace Solskjaer at Old Trafford. However, the Argentinian seemed to hint that he might not be that keen on the job when he told reporters “I’d rather drink a pint of my own piss.”
We’ll have more on this story as it happens.
