Jedward announce headline show at Cappincur hall in Co. Offaly

Pop duo Jedward have announced that they will headline a show on Saturday, June 13th this year in Cappincur Hall, just outside Tullamore in Co. Offaly.

The twin brothers who shot to fame on UK TV show The X-Factor back in 2009 have slipped out of the limelight in recent years and haven’t been seen on anything for quite some time. So what have they been up to lately? We caught up with the lads in Dublin and asked them just that.

“We were just taking a break from showbiz.” John to us. Although it could have been Edward. “Since we parted company with Louis Walsh and went out on our own (he dropped them) and stopped doing Christmas pantos (they were dropped) and left Universal Records (dropped) we’ve been busy working on our greatest hits album.” (they only had two hits)

So what can people expect from the Cappincur show?

“It’s gonna be jepic.” said the other one. “We’re Offaly excited to be playing in Captain Kirk Hall and can’t wait to perform once again in front of our fans. Jedward are back baby! Forget the Oasis reunion. This is the big one.”

Cappincur Hall is mainly used for mass on Saturday evenings but with the wooden benches taken out the capacity goes way up to almost a hundred people.

The warm-up acts confirmed so far include Crystal Swing and the fat lad out of East 17, with more to be added soon.

Tickets are on sale now but hurry, only 100 tickets have been made available for this event and they’ve already sold eleven.
