Coldplay’s Chris Martin says his uncle Micheál is the best Taoiseach Ireland has ever had

Coldplay singer Chris Martin has claimed in an interview with The Tullamore Tribute that his uncle Micheál Martin is the best Taoiseach Ireland has ever had.
“Being the best at what you do runs in the family.” he said. “I don’t want to blow my own trumpet but let’s face it, I’m the best singer out there by a country mile and uncle Micheál is the best Taoiseach there has ever been. Simple!”
Chris was asked what it is that makes his uncle the best ever?
“He’s a leader like no other. He stands out. Head and shoulders above his predecessors. And his peers. Just like me. Let me ask you this. Who are the other guys in Coldplay? You don’t know, do you? Neither do I. Those guys could walk down the street and nobody would notice them. They’re anonymous nobodys. Just like the rest of the Irish government. I can’t go anywhere without getting mobbed and it’s the same for uncle Micheál. That’s because we’re leaders. We’re the best.”
Coldplay return to Ireland next year when they headline Beat on the Peat in Belmont in Co. Offaly on June 15th.
