I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant Angry Ginge has been appointed new manager of Manchester United after the club sacked Rubin Amorim this morning.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with him, Angry Ginge is a streamer and YouTuber from Manchester who many will know from his football-related content, particularly based around FIFA.
He is a staunch United fan and revealed on I’m a Celebrity that if he wasn’t pursuing his current career he would love to be manager of his beloved United.
“That’s good enough for us.” shareholder Jim Ratcliffe told a hastily arranged press conference at Old Trafford in the last hour while announcing the sacking of Ruben Amorim.
“We’ve tried every available football manager on the planet since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down and they’ve all been shite so we’ve decided to go in a different direction. A guy who’s good at playing football on a computer. F**k it! Why not?”
Angry Ginge is expected to leave the jungle immediately and will be in charge of Manchester United for their next game against Crystal Palace on Sunday. We’ll have more on this breaking news as it unfolds.
