American pop superstars Jay Z and his wife Beyonce landed in Ireland last night ahead of the National Ploughing Championships which got under way this morning just outside Tullamore in County Offaly. The couple are regular visitors to the annual shindig due to Beyonce’s legendary passion for agricultural machinery and livestock.

They spoke to reporters as they walked through Knock Airport before jumping into a limousine which was waiting to take them to Tullamore where they will stay with their good friend Taylor Swift who recently relocated to the town after buying a pub there.

Jay Z revealed that it’s not just the Ploughing that attracts them to Ireland.

“Yo, where the Tayto at?” the rap star asked, clearly referring to the popular Irish crisp brand. “Ten hours on a mother f***in’ plane dreaming about cheese and onion Tayto and a big ass glass of red lemonade. I love that shit. Tell ’em B.” he said to his wife, hopefully referring to the first letter of her name and not the word bitch.

“He really does.” said Beyonce who told reporters she couldn’t wait for today’s opening of the 2025 National Ploughing Championships.

“It’s the highlight of our year. We may live in sunny LA but not a day went by this year when we weren’t dreaming of Offaly in September. It’s such a magical place. I just hope we finally get to meet Marty Morrissey this time.”
