Vladimir Putin wins Russiavision Song Contest receiving 126% of the votes

Russian President Vladimir Putin has won the first ever Russiavision Song Contest after receiving an incredible 126% of the jury vote. There was no public vote.

The hastily arranged show was staged to coincide with the Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Sweden on Saturday night. Russia has been banned from the Eurovision since its invasion of Ukraine.

Six other acts took part in Russiavision but tragically all were accidentally shot dead while leaving the stage.

A delighted Putin told viewers during his acceptance speech that his victory was a victory for all Russians and also had a little dig at the Eurovision song contest.

“In your face Ukraine! Up yours the West! This is the big one. Nobody cares about your Eurovision homosexual song contest.”
