Outrage As Some People Refuse To Mourn The Death Of A Man Who Shot Tigers For Fun

There was outrage and anger online yesterday as it became apparent that some people in Ireland were not going to mourn the death of a 99-year old British billionaire who shot tigers and crocodiles for fun.

Prince Philip passed away peacefully in Windsor Castle yesterday surrounded by his servants and gold and the outpouring of grief was widespread, although not everyone seemed to be in mourning as some people clearly didn’t give a shit. Jane Simpson from Kildare told us that Irish people who aren’t mourning the death of Prince Philip cause her great offence.

“They cause me great offence.” she said. “How dare these people not change their Facebook profile picture to a photo of Prince Philip and the Queen. They were a wonderful couple. Clearly these people are all IRA terrorist sympathisers. It offends me. I’m offended.”

Paddy Murray from Dublin told us he’s outraged by some of the comments he saw online yesterday.

“I’m outraged by some of the comments I saw online yesterday.” he said. “Philip was a family man like myself. I hear that his son Prince Charles is going to visit his corpse later today. That’s how close they were. These people mocking the Royal family outrage me. It’s outrageous. I’m outraged.”

Meanwhile Fine Gael TD Charlie Flanagan has called for a national month of mourning and said all tri-colours on government buildings should be removed and replaced with union jacks. Permanently.
