Government Hopeful Storm Lorenzo Can Blow Away The Homeless

Government Ministers are secretly hopeful that storm Lorenzo can have a positive impact on Ireland’s homeless numbers. The amount of people without a home in Ireland has risen to the highest levels in the history of the state under the current government which has also agreed to EU demands to take in thousands of migrants who they also can’t house.

Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy claimed during a press conference this morning that all the government’s hard work to get people off the streets is about to pay off.

“We said all along that we’d get the homeless numbers down and although they’ve just gone up and up since we came to power, something tells me things are about to change.”

The Minister said Lorenzo will hit Ireland from around 4pm today so any time after that would be the best opportunity for those hoping to catch a glimpse of some flying homeless people.
