Relief For Irish Holidaymakers As Greenland Makes Travel List

There was huge relief around the country this morning as people woke up to the news that tourist hotspot Greenland had made the travel list. Last night the Irish government published a so-called green list of 15 countries. People arriving back in Ireland from those countries will not be required to quarantine for 2 weeks.

Irish tourists had been concerned the frozen North Atlantic Island might not make the list. Luckily it did, along with San Marino and for some reason the Rock of Gibraltar.

Thousands of airport workers have been told to report back to work immediately to cope with the imminent stampede of holidaymakers and both hotels in Greenland say they have been inundated with enquiries from Ireland.

The government confirmed that the list will be reviewed every 2 weeks and will soon include countries outside of Europe. It is hoped that the regular number one destination for Irish tourists Outer Mongolia will soon be included.
