France To Make ‘Riot Saturday’ A Weekly Event

French authorities and rioters have agreed that every Saturday and also some Public Holidays will be designated riot days and no rioting will take place at any other times. The rise in popularity of rioting in the country has forced officials to make the move.

Yesterday’s disturbances in Paris came just 7 days after last week’s riot when thousands of people took to the streets to protest against fuel tax rises.

The following day there was a protest against the riot by local business owners which surprisingly turned into a riot. The French army were sent in to quell that riot but by the time they arrived the rioters had all gone so the soldiers rioted.

President Macron – who in a recent poll to find ‘The Most Popular Ruler of France Ever’ finished behind Adolf Hitler – announced on Tuesday that the French government and Prime Minister Edouard Phillippe had listened to the people’s concerns and the fuel tax rise will now not go ahead as planned.

The announcement was widely welcomed by the people of France who took to the streets the following day and celebrated with a riot.
