Charles Hires Stormzy To Give New British National Anthem A Modern Grime Flavour

LONDON: King Charles has unexpectedly contacted English rapper and grime superstar Stormzy and asked him to rework the British national anthem. With the passing of Queen Elizabeth, the national anthem automatically changes from God Save the Queen to God Save the King but for Charles that’s not enough.

“Now that Mummy has gone I want to change our national anthem and not just by replacing the word Queen with King. The whole song is so bloody tedious it bores the backside off me. Time to jack things up.”

Charles claims to be a fan of Stormzy and said he relates to his music due to their similar upbringings in London.

“Me and Stormzy get each other. It’s not easy growing up in this town and we both spent our younger years just trying to survive on the streets and not get stabbed. He’s my boy innit and he’s gonna drop me a garage beat and get dis ting done. Respect.”

Stormzy will perform the new British national anthem ‘God Save Da Bling’ at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth next Monday.
