Trump Predicts Great Relationship With “Prime Minister Boris Becker”

US President Donald Trump accidentally congratulated German tennis star Boris Becker on becoming Britain’s new Prime Minister. The mistake happened this morning as Mr. Trump was being interviewed in the Oval Office by a reporter from Fox News.

When asked for his thoughts on Britain’s new Prime Minister, the President said “I like Boris a lot. They call him the British Trump you know? Congratulations to him on a great victory. We have a lot in common and I predict a great relationship between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Boris Becker.”



As the embarrassed Fox News reporter told the President “Don’t worry sir, we’ll cut that bit out.” Trump replied “Cut what bit out?”

During the interview President Trump also praised last week’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling that will allow him to divert $2.5 billion in Pentagon funds for border wall construction.

He repeated his claim that the wall will be completed by the end of 2020. This afternoon Mexican president Andrés Obrador welcomed Mr. Trump’s prediction and said he intends to have his tunnel under the wall finished around the same time.
